Four Legoland Florida Rides Close November 2, the Day After Brick or Treat Ends, Including Peppa Pig's Balloon Ride

Brick or Treat wraps up Sunday, November 1. The very next morning, four Legoland Florida Resort rides are scheduled to go down.

The resort's Temporary Closures page now lists three new LEGOLAND Park closures and one at Peppa Pig Theme Park, all starting Monday, November 2:

• Battle of Bricksburg: "Starting 11/2," with no end date
• DUPLO Tractor: 11/2 to 11/11
• DUPLO Train: 11/2 to 11/11
• Peppa Pig's Balloon Ride: 11/2 to 11/20

None of the four were on the page when we went through it line by line on Monday, October 5, and that day the Peppa Pig Theme Park section read that all attractions were open. Legoland's sitemap shows the closures page was last updated at 10:04am Eastern this morning, Wednesday, October 7.

Battle of Bricksburg: the open-ended one

The splash ride in the LEGO MOVIE WORLD is the one to watch. Legoland describes it as a "splashtastic boat ride inspired by AWESOME The LEGO® Movie," where riders "Crank the interactive water cannons aboard your boat to soak the alien invaders." Its own FAQ warns, "You should expect to get fully wet."

The closures page gives it a start date and nothing else. Legoland has not said why it is closing or for how long, so for now there is no word on whether it will be back for LEGOLAND Christmas Bricktacular, which Legoland lists for "Select Dates Nov 21 - Jan 3."

The toddler rides are out for 10 days

The two DUPLO rides are built for the littlest riders, so this is the part to note if you are visiting with toddlers.

• DUPLO Tractor is a "slow-moving track-drawn ride" that Legoland says is "ideal for little LEGO® builders" and "lasts for up to one minute."
• DUPLO Train lets riders "explore countryside-themed scenery passing through farms, fishing holes, and campgrounds." Guests under 34 inches must ride with a responsible person 48 inches or taller.

Both are listed through November 11, well before Christmas Bricktacular starts.

Peppa's balloons are grounded too

Over at Peppa Pig Theme Park, Peppa Pig's Balloon Ride is listed as closed from November 2 to November 20, the day before Christmas Bricktacular's listed start. The park describes it as a "family-friendly aerial carousel ride" in "Miss Rabbit's hot air balloon," with no minimum height requirement, though guests under 51 inches must ride with someone 14 or older.

One catch if you are checking from the Peppa side. Peppa Pig Theme Park's own website keeps a separate copy of the closures list, and as of Wednesday afternoon it had not caught up. It still shows an older version of the list, including Mr. Bull's High Striker through 9/25 and both October closures ending 10/24, and does not mention the Balloon Ride. Legoland's page is the one that has been updated.

What else is still on the list

The October closures we covered Monday are still there: Merlin's Challenge through 10/23, and Coast Guard Academy listed twice, through 10/24 in one line and 10/30 in another. Pirate River Quest is still listed with no dates. LEGOLAND Water Park and the hotels show "All attractions open."

The page's standing caveat still applies: "Additional attractions may be closed without notice." If any of these four rides are a must for your crew, plan to ride them by Sunday, November 1.

Which one would your crew miss most, the soaking from Battle of Bricksburg or the toddler-sized DUPLO rides?
