For a few hours on Monday morning, everything pointed to Six Ravens finally opening. The Walt Disney World website listed operating hours for the gothic quick service spot at Disney Springs, 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM, and the full menu with prices surfaced for the first time. Then 10:00 came and went, and Six Ravens did not open.

BlogMickey posted an update at 10:15 AM: "Despite having operating hours on the Walt Disney World website, Six Ravens did not open at 10am. Temporary hedges remain in place in front of the venue."

WDW News Today followed at 10:30 AM with confirmation. After speaking with employees at both Six Ravens and Gideon's Bakehouse, the outlet reported that "Six Ravens is not opening today as expected," and said the restaurant posted an Instagram story about the delay. No new opening date has been announced. As of Monday afternoon, the Walt Disney World listing had reverted to "Six Ravens - Coming Soon!" with the operating hours removed.

What Six Ravens is

Six Ravens is the savory spinoff from the team behind Gideon's Bakehouse, built in the space that was The Art of Shaving in The Landing, just steps from the bakery itself. Disney's own listing calls it a Quick Service Restaurant and invites guests to "Savor a modern take on delicious medieval eats." Dining Plan meals are not accepted.

Disney's listing says the name nods to the Tower of London and "a legend of the resident ravens who still guard the tower to this day." Attractions Magazine notes the superstition that at least six ravens must remain at the fortress, or the crown and the Tower of London will fall. That heraldry carries onto the building itself, where a crowned raven crest was installed high on the facade.

The menu, and the Coffyn

The centerpiece is the Coffyn, which the Six Ravens menu introduces this way: "Hark! Our Coffyn is a yeast roll stuffed with all the sustenance required for a valiant quest." The same copy notes that "Coffyn" was the original term for a hand pie. Disney's own listing adds that the Coffyn was "A beloved pastry in medieval Europe" that "remained popular through the English Tudor period (early 1600s)."

All seven Coffyns are $10.99, and each comes with its own dipping sauce pairing:

  • The Peasant's Patty, a cheeseburger with American cheese and dill pickle bits in a sesame seed sprinkled Coffyn, with Pink Salamander Dipping Sauce
  • The Villain of Valentina, house basil pesto chicken with balsamic tomatoes and garlic in an herb panko Coffyn, with Bruno's Garlic Knot Juice
  • The Wizard's Wonder, mac & cheese with pickled poblano peppers and pulled pork in a BBQ crumb covered Coffyn, with Prince Donut's Smoke & Cherry BBQ Sauce
  • Imperial Idol, mildly spicy chicken with potato & carrot coconut curry in a fried garlic covered Coffyn, with Red Panda's Dipping Sauce
  • The Moreish Monk, a grilled cheese of Vermont white cheddar, havarti and house tomato jam in a parmesan smothered Coffyn, with Wolf Peach Dipping Sauce
  • The Foragers Find, spiced roasted sweet potatoes, black bean corn salsa, crushed pepitas and queso cotija in a pumpkin seed topped Coffyn, with Tropic of Mango Aioli Dip
  • The Rooster's Roar, bacon, egg & cheese in an everything bagel seasoned Coffyn, served from 9am until sell out daily, with a vegetarian potato, egg & cheese option and Papi's Crema Dipping Sauce

Everything else carries similarly offbeat pricing. Tale Teller Tatties, baked smashed potatoes with what the menu calls "Realm Famous Honey Mustard," are $8.66. The Tart's Tempest, a Gideon's chocolate chip tart with chocolate fudge and raspberry jam, is $7.66. The Friars Fault, a house tap root beer described as sassafras forward with a vanilla bean finish, is $6.96, and assorted fountain beverages are $3.66.

Beer and cider round it out at $9.66 each: Polite Light and Lone Palm Golden Ale from The Ravenous Pig, Florida Sunshine Mango from The Crooked Can, and Sideward Cider plus the 7% ABV Moon Boots IPA from Sideward Brewing.

How it got here

Gideon's Bakehouse announced the Six Ravens expansion at Disney Springs on January 16, 2026. Signage and the crowned raven crest went up on the exterior on June 18. Attractions Magazine reported on July 16 that Six Ravens was "undergoing previews with invited attendees," and Monday's posted hours looked like the last step.

One practical note for when it does open: Six Ravens asks guests with allergies to speak with a cast member, and says it cannot guarantee any item is completely free of allergens.
