Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party does not open until August 7, and Disney has already run out of tickets for the night it opens.

Opening night sold out in the past several days, according to BlogMickey, which publishes an updated look at availability for every date on the calendar. That brings the count to six sold-out nights out of 38, and it wipes out the entire opening stretch of the event.

The six nights that are gone: Friday, August 7 ($159), Tuesday, August 11 ($119), Friday, August 14 ($119), Tuesday, August 18 ($129), Tuesday, October 13 ($209), and Saturday, October 31 ($229).

Disney's published August schedule fills in the rest. The party's August nights are the 7th, 11th, 14th, 18th, 21st, 23rd, 25th, 28th and 30th. The first four are sold out, which means the earliest night of the 2026 season you can still buy a ticket for is Friday, August 21.

Where the sold-out dates fall on the price calendar

Three of the six are the three cheapest dates on the entire calendar: August 11 and August 14 tie for the lowest price at $119, and August 18 is next at $129. At the other end sits Halloween night, the single most expensive date of the season at $229.

The other two sit higher up. Opening night was $159, mid-range for the season, and October 13 was $209, only $20 under Halloween night and in the top third of the calendar by price. BlogMickey lists August 7 as the sixth date to sell out this year.

What you get for the ticket

Party tickets let you into Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM even though the event itself starts at 7:00 PM and runs to midnight, so the practical value is closer to eight hours in the park than the five the event hours suggest.

Inside, the 2026 lineup brings back Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade at 8:15 PM, Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular fireworks, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, and the Cadaver Dans. New for this year, Stitch is hosting a dance party at the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. Disney lists more than a dozen trick-or-treating spots around the park, with complimentary treat bags.

If you are still shopping

With the cheapest dates gone, remaining nights start at $139 and top out around $224, against Disney's overall published range for the season of $119 to $229 plus tax. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members get $10 off on select dates through October 2, which is worth checking before you book anything in the first half of the season.

The broad advice: September is where the availability is. Thirteen of the 38 nights fall in September, none of them are listed as sold out, and they run $149 to $184, below the October peak.
