A Fight Broke Out in the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Queue at EPCOT on Saturday, and a TikTok Video Shows It Turning Physical

A wait for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT turned into a fight on Saturday. Two videos posted to TikTok show two men confronting each other in the queue on September 12, and in one of them the fight turns physical as members of their families get involved, WDW News Today reported on Sunday.

WDW News Today said it does not know whether either guest was made to leave the ride or the park, and its report did not include any statement from Walt Disney World.

What the first video shows

The first video in WDW News Today's report was posted by TikTok user @MeluskiO, who captioned it "Something else led to this earlier in the line." According to WDW News Today, it opens with two men standing chest to chest and yelling at each other.

WDW News Today said a security guard soon hurries over and starts talking to them. The two men separate but keep yelling and pointing at each other. WDW News Today reported that the man in a white tank top then takes his shirt off, "apparently preparing for a fight," before the guard moves between them, while guests in the background are seen "quickly moving further away."

The men eventually walk further apart. As the video continues, the guard speaks into his walkie-talkie while other guests talk to him, and a second Cast Member appears to be on a phone call.

MeluskiO set the clip to "Conga" by Gloria Estefan, which WDW News Today noted is among the songs that play during the ride. According to the site, she also posted a version with the original sound to her TikTok story, but the men's words are drowned out by other guests cheering.

The earlier video turned physical

MeluskiO then shared a second video, posted by TikTok user @Divinevalkyrie_ and taken earlier in the argument. In that one, WDW News Today reported, "the fight quickly turns physical."

The site said the man who later removed his shirt was trying to reach his family, who were just ahead of the other man's family. He repeatedly yells, "Touch my daughter, get f*cked!" The fight is mainly between the two men, but other family members try to separate them or join in.

WDW News Today said the man in the white tank top and a guest with him eventually reach their group, but the shouting does not stop. WDW News Today said the @Divinevalkyrie_ video was taken early in the queue and MeluskiO's later, but both were filmed in the same large entry room.

What is still unknown

It is not clear what started it. WDW News Today wrote that it does not know whether either family was "cutting" by joining the queue late, or whether the two groups may have accidentally gotten in front of each other. MeluskiO's caption suggests something happened earlier in the line, and WDW News Today described the @Divinevalkyrie_ video only as taken earlier during the argument.

There is also no word yet on what happened to the guests afterward.

The videos come about six weeks after another Walt Disney World queue fight was caught on camera. On August 2, videos posted to Reddit and TikTok showed a brawl in the Avatar Flight of Passage queue at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
