The Mandalorian and Grogu Get a Set Meet-and-Greet Spot Beside the Millennium Falcon, and Chewbacca Moves to Their Old One

This is the way to find Grogu now: look for the chain stanchions next to the Millennium Falcon.

Mando and Grogu now have a dedicated meet-and-greet location in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios, according to Blog Mickey, which photographed the new setup and reported the change on Monday, October 12. The switch happened "over the past week," the outlet says.

Where to find Mando and Grogu now

"Guests will find the Mandalorian and Grogu under the overhang next to the Millennium Falcon, where chain stanchions now mark out a queue," Blog Mickey reports. Grogu rides along in Mando's sling, and the pair pose against the rockwork next to the ship.

That spot used to be Chewbacca's. The Wookiee had been greeting guests beside the Falcon after becoming, in July 2025, the first character in the land to get a traditional meet-and-greet.

Blog Mickey says times for the new meet-and-greet are listed in the My Disney Experience app.

Chewbacca takes Mando's old spot

The two swapped. Chewbacca has taken over Mando and Grogu's former location at the end of the Marketplace. He poses in front of a big gate built into the rockwork, with the line stretching back along the path that leads up to it.

Mando still roams twice a day

The set location is not the only way to see him. "In addition to the traditional meet and greet seen above, Mando does roam twice per day. That roaming includes a new visit to Oga's Cantina," Blog Mickey writes. Grogu skips the cantina stop, so Mando goes in alone. Those roaming appearances are not advertised or guaranteed.

The duo started out very differently. When they debuted in Galaxy's Edge in March 2023, they were roaming characters, and large crowds followed them through the Marketplace. Back then, Blog Mickey recalls, guests stood out in the sun for over an hour with no idea when the duo would show up. In August 2023 Disney started listing the duo's times in My Disney Experience, though they still had no fixed place to meet guests.

Not everyone is getting a fixed spot. Rey and Kylo Ren continue to roam the land, according to Blog Mickey. The outlet adds that Disney did not respond when it asked about the move toward set meet-and-greet locations in Galaxy's Edge.
