Free Magnet, $5 Doughnuts, 30 Percent off Hotels: Universal Passholder Bonus Benefits Returns May 1 to 21
Top Universal news, Thursday April 30, 2026. Mark your calendars. Universal Orlando's Passholder Bonus Benefits window returns Friday, May 1, and runs through Thursday, May 21, 2026. It is the biggest pure-perks event the Annual Passholder program runs all year, and the 2026 menu drop is heavier than usual.
The headlines:
- Three-week run: May 1 through May 21, 2026. 21 calendar days of exclusive perks.
- Free exclusive UOAP magnet for active passholders, with two pickup locations.
- Up to 30 percent off hotel stays for travel through December 23, 2026, well past the bonus window.
- 35 percent off the My Universal Photos Annual Pass Photo Package, when purchased in the park.
- Exclusive menu items across CityWalk and the parks, with a couple of standouts that are clearly being built for repeat orders.

The free magnet
Every active passholder can pick up a free exclusive UOAP magnet during the bonus window. Pickup spots are the UOAP Lounge in Toon Lagoon at Islands of Adventure (11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily) and the Tonight Shop in Universal Studios Florida (park open to close). One free magnet per active passholder.
The hotel discount is the real prize
The 30 percent off ceiling is up to a 30 percent discount, with actual savings tier-dependent based on hotel and dates. Hotel stays book for travel through December 23, 2026, which means the discount is good well past the May 21 close of the bonus window. That is the biggest "stack with a fall trip" perk on the list, and a real reason to make sure your pass is current before May 1.
Exclusive menu items, with prices
Universal posted the bonus menu in advance this year. Pricing as of the announcement (plus tax):
- Viking Bee Sting at Voodoo Doughnut, $5.25. A doughnut play on Voodoo's usual chaos energy.
- Chimi Cheese Sandwich at NBC Sports Grill & Brew, $17.95.
- Salmon Rasta Roll at The Cowfish, $23.95.
- Salmon and Saffron Risotto at Lombard's Seafood Grille, $38.00. The high-end sit-down option of the bunch.
- Chopped Italian Mac and Cheese at Blondie's, $17.49 (combo) or $12.99 (platter).
- Firefly Peach Moonshine at Backwater Bar, $17.00.

Free dessert with entree at five resort restaurants
One of the most overlooked perks: a complimentary dessert with the purchase of an entree at five resort hotel restaurants. The lineup:
- Trattoria del Porto at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel (lunch or dinner)
- Amatista Cookhouse at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort (lunch or dinner)
- Cosmos Cafe and Market at Universal Stella Nova Resort (lunch or dinner)
- Omega Cafe and Market at Universal Terra Luna Resort (lunch or dinner)
- Islands Dining Room at Loews Royal Pacific Resort (dinner only)
Worth scheduling a sit-down lunch into the trip just for that.
Smaller perks worth flagging
- $5 merch credit on any single transaction of $10 or more (pre-tax, post discount) at participating Universal-owned and operated merchandise locations.
- 35 percent off the My Universal Photos Annual Pass Photo Package, purchased in the park.
- Free magnet pickup at two locations (UOAP Lounge in Toon Lagoon, Tonight Shop in USF) so even short trips can grab one.
Quick planner notes
- If you are planning a fall trip, book the hotel in May to lock the up-to-30 percent rate. The discount books for travel through December 23, well past the bonus window.
- The exclusive menu items are available all 21 days. No reservation needed for any of the spots, though Lombard's and The Cowfish fill up at peak meal times.
- Voodoo Doughnut is on CityWalk, so the Viking Bee Sting is grabbable without a park ticket. Lowest cost-of-entry on the list.
- The dessert perk at Trattoria del Porto, Amatista, Cosmos Cafe, and Omega Cafe applies at lunch or dinner. Islands Dining Room is dinner-only, so plan accordingly.
