Universal Orlando's New Special 3-Day Ticket Puts Epic Universe in a Florida Resident Deal, at $85 a Day for Three Parks

Universal Orlando Resort has a new three day ticket, and the notable part is not the price on the front of it. It is that Universal Epic Universe is inside it.

The Special 3-Day Ticket covers Universal Epic Universe, Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, one park per day, starting at $99 per day plus tax. Florida residents get their own version at as little as $85 per day, which is a total of $255 for the three days. That is not a record, though. Universal's own August 6 press release is still advertising a "Get 2-Days Free with a 3-Day Ticket" deal that stretches a three day price across five days of park access, which works out cheaper per day than this does.

The four versions, as reported by Inside the Magic and WDW News Today: $99 per day standard, $119 per day standard with 2-Park Park-to-Park, $85 per day for Florida residents, and $95 per day for Florida residents with 2-Park Park-to-Park, which totals $285.

One thing to read carefully. The upgrade is sold as 2-Park Park-to-Park, and that is exactly the scope it buys: same day movement between Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure. It does not reach Epic Universe. On the base ticket and on the upgrade alike, Epic Universe takes one of your three days, so if your plan was to hop into Epic on a whim, neither version will do it.

The Florida resident version has strings

Inside the Magic and WDW News Today both report the resident tickets are sold online only, not at the front gate, and have to be used by December 23, 2026. Laughing Place adds the blockout dates caveat, and notes the tickets can be spread across that window however you like within those limits.

That end date overlaps the holiday season. Universal's August 6 press release puts its destination wide holiday celebration at November 14, 2026 through January 3, 2027, so just under six weeks of it, 40 days, fall inside the ticket window. That release says the in-park holiday offerings need no extra ticket beyond ordinary park admission, and names a single paid add-on, the Universal Holiday Tour, at $69.99 and up per person plus tax. Laughing Place makes the same point about regular admission. Blockout dates are the open question, but where they allow it, a resident could put one of the three days on the holiday overlay at no extra charge.

There is a hotel discount attached

Laughing Place reports a companion offer of up to 35 percent off rooms, Sunday through Thursday through December 24, at four properties: Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, Universal Terra Luna Resort, and Universal Endless Summer Resort - Surfside Inn and Suites.

Laughing Place frames this as a Florida resident room offer, and it runs on its own calendar, one day longer than the ticket window.

One caveat on the numbers

We could not find a Universal press release for this offer. The newest Orlando item in its press room when we checked was dated August 28 and concerns Halloween Horror Nights. Universal's own ticket store was sitting behind a queueing page when we checked, so we could not read the prices off the source directly. All four prices come from Inside the Magic and WDW News Today, which published matching figures on Thursday. Laughing Place, also on Thursday, carries only the $85 per day and $255 resident numbers, along with the blockout dates caveat and the hotel offer. The WDW News Today write up is a sponsored post, paid for by the travel agency Be Our Guest Vacations rather than by Universal.
