Glinda and Elphaba Are Coming to CityWalk for One Day Only, as Universal Throws a Wicked Oztacular Spectacular on October 24
Dust off your pink and your green. Universal Orlando is throwing a one-day Wicked party at Universal CityWalk, and Glinda and Elphaba are on the guest list.
The event is called Wicked Oztacular Spectacular, and it runs Saturday, October 24, from noon to 7 p.m., according to WFTV, which reported Universal's announcement on October 1.

What's on the yellow brick road
Per WFTV's report on the announcement, the day includes:
- Meet and greets with Glinda and Elphaba
- Stained-glass photo stations
- Displays of authentic movie costumes and props
- A yellow brick dance floor with a DJ spinning songs from the Wicked films
- Trivia sessions with themed giveaways
You can also shop Wicked merchandise at the Universal Legacy Store, which returned to CityWalk this spring. Laughing Place says the store will have "the newest Wicked merchandise."

Do you need a ticket?
Universal has not announced a price for the event, Fantasy Land News notes, and none of the reports mention reservations. CityWalk itself does not require park admission.
Keep the calendar in mind, though. October 24 falls late in the Halloween Horror Nights 35 season, which runs select nights from August 28 through November 1, so plan your Oz afternoon around the evening crowds headed for the haunted houses next door at Universal Studios Florida.
Familiar pieces, all in one place
Wicked is not new to Universal Orlando. Wicked: The Experience, a limited-time immersive retail location inside Universal Studios Florida, added a new overlay inspired by Wicked: For Good beginning October 31, 2025, according to Universal's October 2025 press release.
Laughing Place points out that some of these activities have appeared at the resort before, but "this is the first time they've all been put in one place."

Also at CityWalk
The same announcement also highlighted The Traitors: New Blood bar at Universal's Great Movie Escape, which we covered in September. WFTV says it is open Wednesday through Sunday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Fantasy Land News notes the bar is open to walk-ins without an escape room booking, though the escape rooms themselves still require separate admission.
