SeaWorld Orlando Adds a Seven-Week Howl-O-Scream Magnet Series, With a New Collectible Every Friday Starting September 18
Seven magnets, seven Fridays, and limited quantities each week. SeaWorld Orlando has added an "ALL-NEW Magnets Miniseries" to its Howl-O-Scream attractions page, with a new collectible magnet released each week from September 18 through October 30.
We found no press release or blog post about it. The magnets section is now on the attractions page, and SeaWorld's sitemap shows that page was last updated on Wednesday, September 16, at 9:20 a.m. Eastern. The page describes the series this way: "For a limited time enjoy a terrifying weekly drop of collectible magnets all through this Howl-O-Scream season."

The drop schedule
According to the attractions page, magnets go on sale starting September 18, and SeaWorld notes a "Limited quantity available per week." Every date below is a Friday. Each week comes with a teaser:
- September 18: "An eye-rrie magnet arrives this week!"
- September 25: the theme is the undead.
- October 2: a nurse "who wants to send patients to the grave."
- October 9: "a clown with a killer smile."
- October 16: "No need to venture through the pumpkin patch for this magnet."
- October 23: "Fear or Friend?"
- October 30: the final magnet, to "complete the terrifying collection."
The artwork on the page matches those teasers. The first design puts eyeballs in the O's of Howl-O-Scream, the third reads "Nurse You Back to Death," the fourth shows a clown with "Smile! You're Next," and the fifth is a pumpkin-carrying ghoul.
Where to buy them
SeaWorld says the magnets will be sold at select Howl-O-Scream gift shops: Howl-O-Flix, Wild Arctic and Reef Treasures. SeaWorld has not listed a price on the page, and it does not say how many of each magnet it will stock or whether there is a per-guest limit.

That first design lists five park locations (Orlando, San Antonio, San Diego, Tampa Bay and Williamsburg) along with SeaWorld and Busch Gardens branding. As of Wednesday night, the magnets section appears only on SeaWorld Orlando's Howl-O-Scream attractions page; we found no mention of the magnets on the Howl-O-Scream pages for the other four locations.
Same art as this year's merch
The second magnet uses the same "From the Deep" Howl-O-Scream artwork that appears on a tie-dye shirt in SeaWorld's Macabre Merch photo on the same page. That section says new Howl-O-Scream gear is sold at the same three shops, including "exclusive merch and collectibles you'll only find at SeaWorld Orlando."

Our take: with one design a week and a limited quantity each time, completing the set could take a trip to the shops in each of the seven release weeks. If you only have one visit planned, pick the design you want most and go as early in its release week as you can. SeaWorld has not said whether earlier designs stay on sale once the next one drops.
