SeaWorld's Free Preschool Card Is Coming Back for 2027, With Registration Opening in January and Places Limited
Florida parents of little ones, mark January. SeaWorld Orlando has rewritten the top of its Free Preschool Card page, and it now spells out when the free card for kids 5 and under comes back: "Registration for 2027 opens in January 2027, and places are limited."
The top of the page now reads "2026 registration is now closed" and "Be first in line for 2027." SeaWorld is asking families to join a priority list, promising "you'll get the email the day it opens."

What the card gets you
SeaWorld pitches the Preschool Card as "a free year," not a one-day ticket. SeaWorld's page says it covers both SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica Orlando, with unlimited admission, "no blockout dates and no per-visit cost." The FAQ adds that accompanying parents and other family members need their own admission.
The new top section lists three things to know:
- Florida residents only.
- Age: no older than 5 when the child makes that first visit.
- Proof of age: bring a certified birth certificate or a passport on that first visit.
The residency and ID rules are not new. The page's FAQ already required them this year, adding that school IDs are not accepted and that a parent or guardian needs "a photo ID with proof of their Florida residential address."

Why January matters
SeaWorld has not posted a 2027 deadline yet, but the 2026 card had a firm registration cutoff. The page's FAQ, which still carries the 2026 terms, says families had to register online by March 15, 2026, and that the park front gates did not take registrations. The window to make that first visit was later "EXTENDED to July 12, 2026," and the card stays valid through December 31, 2026.
The "places are limited" warning appears to be new. We did not find that wording in an archived copy of the page from August 19, 2026, where the registration line simply read "Registration for the Preschool Card has ended."
A page still catching up
The update is not consistent across SeaWorld's sites yet:
- SeaWorld's own FAQ further down the page still answers questions with the 2026 dates.
- Aquatica Orlando's Preschool Card page picked up its own "What a day could look like" section, but its registration copy has not been updated for 2027, still promising free admission "throughout all of 2026."
- The priority list is not a link. The page's only email sign-up links, in an older FAQ note and the footer, go to SeaWorld Orlando's general email sign-up page, which says nothing about the Preschool Card or 2027.
SeaWorld's sitemap lists September 10 as the Free Preschool Card page's most recent update, and Aquatica's sitemap shows the same date for its Preschool Card page.
Where the page suggests starting
The new version also adds a "What a day could look like" section built around small kids: Sesame Street Land, the Dolphin Nursery, the Clyde and Seamore sea lion show, and Turi's Kid Cove and Walkabout Waters at Aquatica. Our favorite line on the page: "Two hours and home for a nap is a perfectly good day."
