News MAR10 Day Arrives at Epic Universe: Yoshi Meet-and-Greet, Luma Shoulder Pals, and Galactic Treats Celebrate The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
Starting tomorrow — March 10, also known as MAR10 Day — Universal Epic Universe is launching a limited-time celebration in SUPER NINTENDO WORLD to mark the upcoming theatrical release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, which hits theaters on April 1, 2026. The festivities run daily through April 13.
Meet Yoshi in SUPER NINTENDO WORLD
The highlight of the celebration is a brand-new Yoshi meet-and-greet inside SUPER NINTENDO WORLD at Universal Epic Universe. This is Yoshi's first limited-time character appearance at the Orlando park and gives guests the chance to snap photos and interact with Mario's iconic green companion. The same experience will also be available at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Interactive Luma Shoulder Pals
Fans of the Luma characters from the Mario Galaxy games will want to get their hands on Universal's newest piece of exclusive merchandise: interactive Luma shoulder pals. Available in blue and yellow, these light-and-sound enabled figures sit on your shoulder and — in a charming touch — actually communicate with each other when two guests wearing them get close together. They're the first-of-their-kind at Universal Orlando.
Galactic Food and Treats
The celebration extends to the menu with two standout limited-time offerings:
- Rosalina Cupcake — A blue velvet cupcake filled with blueberry cheesecake and lemon buttercream, topped with a chocolate crown and star. A fitting tribute to the elegant Princess Rosalina.
- Galaxy Popcorn — Multicolored berry-flavored popcorn dusted with edible glitter, making it as photogenic as it is snackable.
Additional cosmic-themed desserts will be available at select dining locations throughout the resort.
CityWalk Photo Experience
Over at Universal CityWalk, guests can step into a galactic tunnel-like photo experience inspired by the film — perfect for social media. Film screenings will also begin at Universal Cinemark starting April 1 when the movie officially premieres.
