What Legoland says
Per the official Legoland Florida Resort announcement, Brian Bacica, Vice President of LEGOLAND Florida Resort, said:
"Bringing the FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience area to LEGOLAND Florida Resort gives families the chance to be part of the tournament in true LEGO style."
The Training Academy stations
The three Training Academy stations are the active-play core of the activation:
- Spot Shot is an accuracy-wall game where guests aim at specific targets to score.
- Super Squad is a color-coded passing and teamwork challenge that emphasizes cooperative play.
- The Kick Off lets guests score against a life-size LEGO minifigure goalie (a parent typically stands behind the figure) and take a winner's-podium photo.
How it fits with the rest of the Legoland summer
- Now: FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience (June 11 to July 19).
- LEGO Festival returns July 20 to August 16 (we covered May 17). The FIFA Experience ends one day before LEGO Festival begins, so Legoland's summer event calendar is essentially continuous from now through mid-August.
- Brick-or-Treat 2026 expands 50 percent to 18 dates starting September 20 (we covered June 7).
- Pig Family Travel Adventure opened at Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida on May 23 (we covered the opening weekend) and runs select dates through June 28.
Quick planner notes
- If you're visiting in June or July, build the FIFA stations into your day. The Training Academy stations are interactive rather than a queued attraction, so they fit naturally into a regular park-day routine.
- The Design Your Winning Jersey wall refreshes daily, so an early-day visit gets you on the wall before the refresh.
- Pair with LEGO Festival planning. The FIFA Experience ends July 19; LEGO Festival begins July 20. If you're planning a multi-week summer trip, the events back-to-back are a planning bonus.
- If you're traveling with younger kids, The Kick Off station with the life-size LEGO minifigure goalie is the most photo-friendly of the three Training Academy stations.
