Spider Lady's Castle at Legoland Florida Asks Kids to Put Their Hands Inside the Door, and Three Things Are Waiting

Brick or Treat Street asks kids to ring a doorbell, scare a crow, knock on a tomb and open a greenhouse door. Spider Lady's Castle asks them to reach inside and feel what is there.

Legoland Florida has given the castle a page of its own. The park describes the castle as "designed around a simple idea: what happens when you reach inside and discover something unexpected?"

Three things behind the door

The park says guests "can interact with designated openings in the castle door, reaching inside to discover tactile surprises," and the page is specific about what those are. Legoland writes that "the experience design calls for three different types of tactile effects, including an air blast, a tickler and a furry surprise."

The page says the experience "is intentionally playful rather than frightening," and that the castle pairs its touch effects with sound and themed detail to make children curious. Under a section headed "Is Spider Lady's Castle Scary?" Legoland adds that the surprise "comes from the interactive effects rather than intense scares."

A number for the whole street

The page also carries the figure the park has put on its Brick or Treat Street pages: how long the walkthrough actually takes. Legoland says "the entire Brick or Treat Street experience is designed to take approximately 7 to 10 minutes of continuous flow, with additional time possible for queuing and guest interaction."

That is the whole neighborhood, all six houses, not one of them. For scale, the park has said Plant Monster's Greenhouse is planned as roughly a 25 to 35 second stop.

The other five doors

Brick or Treat Street is made up of six themed homes: Spider Lady's Castle, Wolf Guy's Cabin, Wacky Witch's Cottage, Mummy's Throne Room, Scarecrow's Barn and Plant Monster's Greenhouse. Legoland has given four of them their own pages so far: Wacky Witch's Cottage, Scarecrow's Barn, Spider Lady's Castle and Plant Monster's Greenhouse. Wolf Guy's Cabin and Mummy's Throne Room have none yet.

The park has described the trick at every door. Along with the tactile effects at Spider Lady's Castle, there is a doorbell to ring and escaped LEGO frogs to find at the witch's cottage, a wise cracking crow to try to scare at the barn, a greenhouse door that sets off a plant monster, a werewolf transformation at the cabin and a tomb to knock on in the throne room. Six doors, six different tricks.

If you are going

Brick or Treat Street is new for 2026, an indoor walkthrough neighborhood in the Imagination Zone, and it opened with the event on Saturday. Brick or Treat runs on select dates from September 5 to October 31. There is no separate event ticket. It is included with park admission, and select passes cover it.

Anyone who was in the park on a listed day on a regular ticket can bring that ticket back to Guest Services for another visit within a year.

Universal Sets Rock the Universe 2027 for January 22 and 23 and Names All 18 Artists, Led by Elevation Worship and Josiah Queen

Universal announced the dates and the full lineup on the same day. Rock the Universe returns to Universal Studios Florida on Friday, January 22 and Saturday, January 23, 2027, with nine artists a night and eighteen across the weekend. Elevation Worship leads the Friday lineup, Josiah Queen leads Saturday, and tickets go on sale Tuesday, September 15.
