Legoland's Hotel Costume Station for Brick or Treat Closes at Noon, Two Hours Before the Park's Candy Stations Open

Brick or Treat opens at Legoland Florida today, and if you booked a hotel room partly for the costume station it includes, plan on the morning. It closes at noon.

The Monster Makeover Station is the resort's hotel-guest perk for the event: temporary tattoos, hair color spray and a few other bits, thrown in with the room. The official event page gives its hours as 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Brick or Treat event days.

The candy does not start until 2 p.m.

The hours, side by side

Laid out against each other, the gap is easy to see:

  • Monster Makeover Station: 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Theme park: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today
  • Candy stations: 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The station opens 90 minutes before the park does and closes two hours before the first candy bag is handed out. It is a get-ready-in-the-morning amenity, which makes sense for a hotel lobby, and it is included with the stay. It is just not a top-up station you can duck back to once the trick-or-treating is under way.

If you have young kids who nap, that morning window is the one to plan around, because the tattoos and hair spray go on hours before the part they are excited about.

One lobby, three hotels

The second thing worth knowing is where it is. The page invites Legoland Florida Resort hotel guests generally, then places the station "exclusively in the LEGOLAND Hotel Lobby."

The resort has three hotels: the LEGOLAND Hotel, LEGOLAND Pirate Island Hotel and LEGOLAND Beach Retreat. Guests of all three appear to be welcome, but the station itself sits in one lobby. Legoland's own resort description calls the LEGOLAND Hotel and Pirate Island Hotel "both located just steps from the theme park entrance," so that is a short walk. Beach Retreat guests are farther out: that hotel's own September guide lists no Brick or Treat programming, puts the park half a mile away and marks a stop for free transportation to the parks.

The same hotel package block that advertises the station also lists a Halloween Pajama Dance Party and a hotel-exclusive LEGO Monster Meet & Greet, with the package priced from $167 a person a night and the offer running through September 28, 2026.

The rest of the event calendar

Brick or Treat runs 18 dates this year: September 5, 6, 12, 19 and 26, then October 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31. It is included with general park admission, so no separate ticket is needed, and trick-or-treating is supported by HARIBO.

Candy bags are handed out at every candy station across the park during that 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. window, so the bag is not something you need the hotel for. What the hotel adds is the Monster Makeover Station itself, open until noon.

Universal Sets Rock the Universe 2027 for January 22 and 23 and Names All 18 Artists, Led by Elevation Worship and Josiah Queen

Universal announced the dates and the full lineup on the same day. Rock the Universe returns to Universal Studios Florida on Friday, January 22 and Saturday, January 23, 2027, with nine artists a night and eighteen across the weekend. Elevation Worship leads the Friday lineup, Josiah Queen leads Saturday, and tickets go on sale Tuesday, September 15.
