Legoland Florida Replaced Its Flat 20% AAA Hotel Discount This Morning With Up to 25% on Weekdays Only, and Three Brick or Treat Nights Qualify

Legoland Florida's AAA hotel offer got a bigger number on it this morning. It also came with a Sunday through Thursday restriction the old version did not carry, which rules out every Friday and Saturday of Brick or Treat, 13 of the event's 18 nights. The old offer was no help on those nights either, because it stopped on September 3. Legoland states the restriction plainly on the page and does not explain it.

The old deal, branded "Double Your Discount," was a flat "20% off any LEGO® themed room" with no day of week restriction and no price floor. It expired on September 3. The same page now carries a new headline, "Save up to 25% on weekdays," and Legoland's sitemap records that page as last modified at 9:37 a.m. Eastern today.

The new terms, from Legoland's own page: "Save up to 25% on Sunday through Thursday stays," "Starting from $199 per night," for stays "Sept 7 - Dec 24, 2026," with blackout dates of "October 11 and November 22-26, 2026." The offer ends October 26. Park tickets are not included, and for anything outside that window "the standard 10% hotel discount will apply."

Now count the Brick or Treat nights

Brick or Treat opens Saturday and runs 18 nights: September 5, 6, 12, 19 and 26, then October 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31.

Thirteen of those 18 are Fridays or Saturdays. Every one of the other five is a Sunday. Line that up against a Sunday through Thursday offer that starts September 7 and blacks out October 11, and you get exactly three Brick or Treat nights bookable at the AAA rate: October 4, October 18 and October 25. September 6 misses by one day, because the offer's stay window starts the next day.

Holidays at LEGOLAND gets squeezed too

The pattern repeats over the holidays. Holidays at LEGOLAND runs 26 dates from November 21 to January 3. The AAA window closes December 24, which cuts the entire December 25 to January 3 stretch, ten dates. Seven of the sixteen that remain are Fridays or Saturdays, and the November 22 to 26 blackout takes out November 22, the only Sunday that falls inside it. What is left is eight qualifying event dates: November 29, then December 6, 13, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24.

The package page changed too

The same sitemap records a second change just under two hours later, at 11:35 a.m. Eastern, on the page that carries Legoland's public hotel packages. It does not record which part of that page changed. As the page reads now, sitting below the Brick or Treat Getaway is a separate weekday offer headed "More Play. Less Pay." that pitches "Stay Sunday-Thursday & Save on a boo-tacular fall getaway!" and "Enjoy the same awesome LEGOLAND® Florida Resort experience for less with lower-priced weekday hotel stays."

Both pages now carry a weekday pitch, and both carry a September 4 timestamp, the day before the Halloween event opens. That is as far as the record goes. Legoland has published no explanation for either change, and same day timestamps are not by themselves unusual on this site: the Brick or Treat event page carries one too, at 12:28 p.m. Eastern. Note the limit of the parallel: the Brick or Treat Getaway itself still advertises Brick or Treat weekends and puts no day of week restriction on its own rate. It is the offer beneath it that is weekday only.

Note that the two are not quoted in the same units. The AAA offer is quoted as starting from $199 per night, with tickets excluded. The public Brick or Treat Getaway is "Stays from $167 per person, per night" with 2-Day Multi-Park tickets included, bookable through September 28 for travel through November 1. Legoland's own footnote adds that the per person figure excludes tax and assumes a family of four sharing a one night stay. Comparing the two headline numbers directly will mislead you.

The fine print worth reading

The inclusions on the page did not change. The June version listed the same daily hot breakfast, in room LEGO surprises, free Master Builder Workshop and self parking, and carried the same terms block. Full prepayment is still required at booking, and the breakfast still comes with the caveat Legoland has always printed here: it covers only guests listed on the reservation and does not apply on arrival day. And Legoland is explicit about membership checks: "This web page is intended for AAA members and proof of membership may be required at time of check-in to qualify for these rates. Inability to provide proof of membership will result in a higher room rate charged at check-in."

If your family can travel midweek, the advertised ceiling went up by five points, from a flat 20% to up to 25%, though the new offer is quoted as starting from $199 per night and the old flat 20% carried no such floor. If you want a Friday or Saturday at Brick or Treat, the new offer excludes you, and so did the old one, which stopped at September 3. Those nights fall back to the standard 10% discount either way.
