Happy Canada Day: EPCOT's Canada pavilion gets a brand-new place to eat, opening today. La Poutinerie, hosted by Air Canada, takes over the former Refreshment Port location on July 1, 2026, and the Canada Day timing is almost certainly on purpose.

The headlines:

  • Opens: Today, July 1, 2026 (Canada Day).
  • Where: Canada pavilion, EPCOT World Showcase, in the former Refreshment Port space (closed January 12, 2026 for the rebuild).
  • Official name: La Poutinerie, hosted by Air Canada. Air Canada is billed as the official Canadian airline of Walt Disney World Resort.
  • The poutines: Québec: L'Authentique ($10.99), with fries, cheese curds, and brown gravy; and Montréal: Viande Fumée ($12.49), which adds smoked meat, pickles, and mustard gravy.
  • Drinks: Spiced Apple Slushy ($6.29), Spiced Apple Mule ($14.50), Unibroue La Fin du Monde ($14.00), Molson Canadian ($10.75), Jackson-Triggs Reserve Red Blend ($12.00), Domaine Ste. Michelle Brut ($7.50), plus Coca-Cola ($4.79), DASANI water ($4.25), and smartwater ($6.25).

A real glow-up for the Canada pavilion corner

This is more than a menu swap. The exterior got a full redesign: new stonework on the columns and chimney facade, a repainted roof, updated La Poutinerie signage, and a centerpiece of Canada geese in flight, plus new maple trees, flowers, and landscaping so the stand reads as built into the pavilion rather than parked beside it.

Quick planner notes

  • La Poutinerie is quick-service, no reservation needed. Mobile order availability was not confirmed at open, so check the My Disney Experience app.
  • It sits in World Showcase, so you need EPCOT admission. The Canada pavilion is one of the pavilions flanking the entrance to World Showcase from the front of the park.
  • If you want the smoked-meat version, that is the Montréal: Viande Fumée at $12.49; the classic three-ingredient poutine is the Québec: L'Authentique at $10.99.
