Disney's Fall Snack List Puts Both of Its Typhoon Lagoon Items in 2027, Six Days Before the Water Park Closes

Disney published its fall food lineup for Walt Disney World on Thursday: 46 listed snacks and drinks spread across four theme parks, both water parks, Disney Springs and more than a dozen resort locations. Two of those items are assigned to Typhoon Lagoon. Both carry the same parenthetical, and it is the only one in the document that names a year.

(Coming in 2027.)

The short version: exactly three of the locations in Disney's fall food list carry a Coming in 2027 tag, and two of the three are Typhoon Lagoon counters. That is Disney's own timing for those menu items, not a reopening announcement, and the third tagged location is open for business today. It is a signal, not a date.

What the list actually says

The two Typhoon Lagoon entries are easy to miss, because they sit inside long location lists under items that are mostly arriving elsewhere this fall.

Happy Landings is listed for the DOLE Whip Pineapple with Chili-Lime and Churro Sundae, described as DOLE Whip Pineapple layered with chili-lime-marinated DOLE Pineapple, coconut and a classic churro half. The same sundae goes to Warung Outpost at Disney's Animal Kingdom, with no year attached. So one location gets it this fall and the other gets it in 2027.

Leaning Palms is listed for the Golden Frozen Flame, a Minute Maid Premium Lemonade blended with honey, chile and the flavors of passion fruit, orange and guava. That drink is going to six locations. Four of them get it this fall. Leaning Palms is one of the two that do not.

Why this is a signal and not a proof

The third Coming in 2027 tag belongs to Outdoor Vending at Disney Springs, also for the Golden Frozen Flame. Disney Springs is open right now. Its outdoor carts are serving guests today. Which means the tag marks when the drink shows up, not when the location does, and on its own it confirms nothing about a water park calendar.

What it does do is put a year on paper. Disney announced a closure date for Typhoon Lagoon in June and has published nothing since about a return. Its own fall food announcement, released six days before the gates shut, does not expect either Typhoon Lagoon counter to be handing out these items during the remainder of 2026.

Blizzard Beach gets its two items now

The contrast is in the same list. Avalunch at Disney's Blizzard Beach is getting Maple Bacon Churro Fries, churro fries topped with maple bacon jam, crispy crepe wafers and maple floss. Lottawatta Lodge is getting the Peaches and Cream slush. Neither carries a year.

That tracks with the schedule Disney has already stated. The two water parks trade turns, and this one is Typhoon Lagoon's. September 8 is its last operating day, Blizzard Beach stays open through the closure, and Disney's own guidance when it set the date was to send guests there instead.

The rest of the list is a breakfast overhaul at the cheaper resorts

Buried under the water park detail is the largest single piece of this announcement: ten new pancake and waffle items, five flavors served in two formats, and every one of them lands at a value or moderate resort food court.

• Birthday cake, character-shaped waffles or pancakes with birthday cake custard, cake crumbles and rainbow sprinkles, at Landscape of Flavors at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.
• Strawberry, Mickey-shaped waffles or pancakes with vanilla custard, at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at Disney's Port Orleans Resort French Quarter, Riverside Mill Food Court at Port Orleans Riverside, and Everything POP Shopping & Dining at Disney's Pop Century Resort.
• Caramel-banana with streusel, at End Zone Food Court at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort.
• Fruit cereal with vanilla custard, at Intermission Food Court at Disney's All-Star Music Resort.
• Candy bar with cookie bar pieces, caramel and chocolate sauce, at World Premiere Food Court at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort.

All ten come with bacon and sausage. No deluxe resort appears anywhere in the breakfast section, and that is not an accident of sampling. Deluxe resorts show up plenty elsewhere in the same document, at Tambu Lounge at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, The Mara at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, two Grand Floridian pool bars and Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. They are all getting drinks. The new breakfast is going where the food courts are.

Churros, slushes, shakes and two very busy bars

Ten of the 46 items are churros or churro adjacent. Sunshine Seasons at EPCOT picks up a Churro Strawberry Shortcake Sundae. Energy Bytes at Magic Kingdom gets Churro Overdrive, cookies and cream mini churros with blue sugar and marshmallow. Isle of Java at Animal Kingdom gets a Churro-misu Cold Brew, Joffrey's cold brew under a house made tiramisu cold foam, served with a churro on the side. The Mission Space Cart at EPCOT gets Family Churros, which is 21 bite-size churros with sprinkles and dipping sauces.

The drinks are where the volume is. Nine new frozen slushes, four without alcohol and five with. Five milkshakes, including a Steamboat Willie shake at The Plaza Restaurant and two espresso martini versions. Twelve specialty beverages, nine of them cocktails. Two locations soak up more of this than anywhere else, and they tie: Rose & Crown Dining Room and Pub at EPCOT and Dockside Margaritas at Disney Springs each pick up six of the new drinks.

What Disney did not say

There are no prices. Not one, anywhere in the announcement, for any of the 46 items. There is also no arrival date more specific than "this fall" for anything except the three locations tagged 2027, and Disney closes with its standard line that all offerings are subject to change and availability.

For planning purposes that leaves two useful facts. If you are staying value or moderate this fall, the breakfast at your food court is changing, though you will not know what it costs until you are standing at the register. And if Typhoon Lagoon was on a fall or holiday itinerary, Disney's own food planning is the closest thing to a public timeline anyone has, and it is not pointing at 2026.
