The Cake Bake Shop at Disney's BoardWalk Adds Cake Bake Social, Monday-Thursday Afternoons With $13 Cocktails and a $10 Cake Shake
The Cake Bake Shop on Disney's BoardWalk now gives you a reason to stop in between lunch and dinner: cocktails, fries and a Cake Shake.
The Cake Bake Shop has added Cake Bake Social, an afternoon menu of signature cocktails, wines, small bites and one specialty dessert, served Monday through Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the restaurant's bar and lounge. The restaurant's own website now lists it with a "NEW" tag, and BlogMickey reported on Sunday, October 11, that the restaurant "is now offering" it. BlogMickey describes it as a happy hour-style experience. Neither the restaurant nor BlogMickey gives a start date.

The whole menu
It is a short list, and every price is a whole-dollar amount.
Signature cocktails, $13 each:
- Pink Lady Margarita: Corazón Blanco tequila, Crème de Pêche, guava, lime
- Cake Bake Shop Shake Up: Wheatley vodka, lemon, lemon bitters
- Lavender Collins: Empress gin, lavender, lemon, mint, tonic
Select wines, $10 each: Bernier, Val de Loire Chardonnay (Loire Valley, France); Umani Ronchi, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Podere (Abruzzo, Italy); and Saint-Hilaire Brut (Languedoc, France).
Small bites:
- Pommes Frites with Signature Sauces, $11: pick three from Garlic Aioli, Lemon Aioli, Basil Aioli, Ketchup, Dijonnaise, Ranch, Rémoulade and Pimento Sauce
- Pimento Burger Sliders, $16: Certified Angus Beef on a mini brioche bun with pimento cheese, pickles and a pimento cheese dipping sauce
Specialty dessert: the Cake Bake Cake Shake of the Day, $10, a "rotating special flavor."

BlogMickey tallied it up: a cocktail, the fries and the shake come to $34 before tax, and swapping the fries for sliders adds $5.
How seating works
The restaurant's page says you can "reserve your table in our bar lounge or simply walk in and join us at our barstools, available first come, first serve." BlogMickey says table reservations go through OpenTable.
The restaurant pitches it as an escape for anyone "taking a break from the parks, strolling along Disney's BoardWalk, meeting a friend for a drink," and calls the whole thing "a sweeter way to socialize."

Where it fits
According to BlogMickey, The Cake Bake Shop opened in October 2024 in what used to be the ESPN Club, on the BoardWalk's east side, and has served bakery items, breakfast, lunch and dinner since. Cake Bake Social is an addition to that lineup, not a replacement: the Roses of Gold Afternoon Tea continues on its own for anyone who wants the full tea service.

So, would you spend $13 on a Lavender Collins for an afternoon off your feet on the BoardWalk, or is the $10 Cake Shake the bigger draw?
