Maribeth Bisienere Gets a Main Street, U.S.A. Window at Magic Kingdom, Revealed by Jeff Vahle on His Last Day as President
Look up at the yellow Disney Clothiers building on Main Street, U.S.A., near the Casting Agency door, and there is a fresh name in the glass. Maribeth Bisienere, who retired earlier this year as Walt Disney World's Senior Vice President of Operations, has been honored with a window dedication at Magic Kingdom.
The timing is hard to miss. Jeff Vahle shared the dedication on Friday, July 31, his last day as president of Walt Disney World.

What the window actually says: the left pane is lettered for the "Academy of Talent Education," with the tagline "Inspiring Success for a New Century." The freestanding replica used at the ceremony, visible in the photos below, carries the slightly fuller name "Academy of Talent Education & Training," so the presentation piece and the installed glass do not read identically. Blog Mickey uses the longer name in its write-up. Below it, under a ribbon reading FACULTY, five names are painted with a specialty under each: Maribeth Bisienere (Innovative Hospitality), Phil Holmes (Operational Excellence), Trevor Larsen (Engineering Leadership), Jim MacPhee (Talent Development) and Djuan Rivers (International Operations). Per WDW News Today, the other four were added to the window in 2021, so Bisienere is the newcomer.
The pane immediately beside it belongs to Meg Gilbert Crofton, listed as founder of the "Center for Leadership Development & Mentoring," with the line "We start leaders on their journeys" beneath her name. Blog Mickey describes both institutions as fictional. Both are built around developing leaders.
Who she is: Bisienere retired after almost 31 years with the company. In her most recent role she led Resorts, Transportation, Premium Services, Food & Beverage and Merchandise for Walt Disney World, a job she had held since May 2020. She started at Disney as General Manager of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and along the way ran Disney Springs, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, the water parks and Food & Beverage, then Theme Parks, Animal Programs & Security.
Vahle's tribute
Vahle announced the dedication on LinkedIn. His post read, in part:

For more than 30 years, Maribeth helped shape our business and, more importantly, invested in our people. She championed the development of Cast Members, creating opportunities for others to grow, lead and reach their potential. Her impact can be seen in the countless leaders she mentored and in the culture of development she helped build. Congratulations, Maribeth, on this well-deserved recognition. Your legacy will continue to inspire generations of Disney leaders.

The handoff in one frame: Blog Mickey says the mix of outgoing and incoming leadership underscored the transition underway atop Walt Disney World's organization chart. Joe Schott, who becomes president of Walt Disney World on August 3, is standing in the photo alongside Vahle, who was finishing his final day in the role. Where to find it
The window sits on the second floor of the yellow Disney Clothiers facade, just along from the Emporium, above one of the building's ground-floor display windows and a few steps from the Casting Agency door.
