Disney World's V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days Ends Friday, and the 40 Percent Dining Discount Actually Runs Out a Day Earlier
Here is the wrinkle Annual Passholders should know about before the weekend: V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days runs through Friday, July 31, but the headline perk in it expires a day sooner. The table-service dining discount is good Monday through Thursday only, and July 31 is a Friday. That makes Thursday, July 30 the practical last day to use it.
To be clear about what is happening here: Disney is not ending this early. When WDWMagic reported the promotion on April 2, it already carried its end date of July 31. This is a scheduled finish line, not a benefit being taken away. It is also a separate program from the Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Weeks perks, which run on their own calendar.

The dining discount, and who is on the list
Twelve table-service restaurants are participating, Monday through Thursday, through July 31. Ten of them are at 40 percent off:
- Biergarten Restaurant at EPCOT, lunch only
- Coral Reef Restaurant at EPCOT, dinner only
- Garden Grill Restaurant at EPCOT, lunch and dinner
- Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios, breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Tiffins Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom, dinner only
- Tusker House Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom, lunch and dinner
- Boatwright's Dining Hall at Disney's Port Orleans Resort Riverside, dinner only
- Cape May Cafe at Disney's Beach Club Resort, dinner only
- Toledo at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, dinner only
- Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, brunch and dinner
Two more are at 20 percent off, both new to the lineup this year: Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom (lunch only) and The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom (lunch and dinner). Biergarten and Garden Grill are also new this year on the 40 percent list.
The fine print: the discount covers regular-price food and non-alcoholic beverages, excludes alcohol, tax and gratuity, and is dine-in only. It covers the Passholder plus up to three guests per visit, cannot be combined with other offers or promotions, and does not apply to dining packages, including EPCOT festival dining packages and Fantasmic! dining packages. Bring your Annual Pass ID in the Tickets and Passes section of My Disney Experience plus a valid photo ID, and note that pass blockout dates still apply and participating locations are subject to change. Reservations are strongly recommended, and WDWMagic notes table-service capacity is limited, which this late in the run is putting it gently.
Everything else that stops on July 31
- The Passholder Lounge at Restaurant Marrakesh in EPCOT's Morocco Pavilion, open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, with air-conditioned seating, complimentary snacks, water and Moroccan mint tea, a Passholder button and a Disney PhotoPass Animated Magic Shot.
- The character greeting with Mickey Mouse's pals, including Chip and Dale, at the Magic Eye Theater in EPCOT's World Celebration, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
- The free Woody and Buzz magnet at Creations Shop in EPCOT, while supplies last. You need a valid Annual Pass card, linked MagicBand, MagicBand+ or Disney MagicMobile pass, plus a government-issued photo ID.
- The Joffrey's Passholder Coffee Crawl, five exclusive drinks across the four theme parks and Disney Springs. Collect a stamp at each stop and all five earn a collectible cup sleeve, claimed at Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Company at The Landing in Disney Springs, while supplies last.
- The Disney Springs offers, including 20 percent off food and non-alcoholic beverages at Paddlefish and Terralina Crafted Italian, exclusive drinks at several venues, and the limited-edition V.I.PASSHOLDER donut at Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew.

The Joey Chou tumbler is sold while supplies last, and the Passholder merchandise collection and the Ashley Taylor popcorn bucket were never given an end date of their own, so any of the three may already be gone at a given location.
What Disney teased for next
On Tuesday morning, with four days left in the current run, Disney posted a first look at the next Passholder magnet. The artwork is a pond scene: white water lilies, cattails, orange toadstools in the bottom right and, at the lower left, a cluster of lily pads arranged into an unmistakable hidden Mickey.

Disney's wording, per WDWMagic: "Start making room on the fridge, Passholders, because this next magnet Character is used to being in the spotlight! Of course, they're not the only one deserving of attention..."
Disney has not said who the character is. Blog Mickey and WDW News Today both read the clues as pointing toward Kermit the Frog, and both cite Disney's Instagram caption, which asks "Which magnet Character's on the other side of the rainbow?" and references "Rainbow Connection," the song most associated with Kermit. Blog Mickey found the tease itself as a card titled "It's the Passholders Show!" in the Passholder Buzz section of the My Disney Experience app. WDWMagic notes the guesses have ranged from the Muppets to "The Princess and the Frog," and treats all of it as speculation. Disney has said Passholders can also expect a special Disney PhotoPass experience and a limited-time sweet treat.
No release date or pickup location has been announced for the new magnet. In the meantime, there are four days left on the current one, and one fewer than that if you were counting on the discount.
