About this Event
SeaWorld Orlando's Shark Appreciation Week celebrates what the park calls "the world's most misunderstood predators" with a week of shark-focused programming included with regular park admission. Daily Aquarist Talks run at Shark Shallows at 11 a.m., 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. from July 27 through July 31, where members of the animal care team share shark facts, explain how the animals are cared for and take questions from guests. The week also brings a Sydney Shark character meet and greet, the interactive Baby Shark Experience with a live mini show and themed treats, and a 10th anniversary celebration for Mako, Orlando's tallest, fastest and longest coaster, with anniversary moments and photo opportunities. Limited-edition food and merchandise include a specialty shark margarita at the Sharks Underwater Grill bar, Baby Shark themed snacks and shark apparel. A commemorative card is available to pass members for $5.
