SeaWorld Orlando Is Bringing Back Miracles, Its Nighttime Christmas Orca Show, This Holiday Season, With an Exclusive Pass Member Showtime

An old SeaWorld Christmas favorite is coming back. Miracles, the nighttime orca show set to holiday music, returns to SeaWorld Orlando this Christmas season.

SeaWorld confirmed the news in the announcement of its 2027 annual pass, which Amusement Today published on Wednesday, September 30: "Miracles will return to SeaWorld Orlando as a seasonal nighttime orca presentation during SeaWorld's Christmas Celebration."

What SeaWorld says about it

SeaWorld's release describes the show like this: "Featuring an inspirational holiday soundtrack, the presentation showcases the power, beauty and natural abilities of killer whales through dynamic behaviors and inspiring moments." It adds that the show's "message of peace, friendship and reflection offers families a moving moment to share together during the winter holidays."

Brad Gilmour, SeaWorld Orlando's park president, pointed to the new pass year's highlights, running "from the debut of Ocean Discovery Days in January to the return of Miracles during this year's Christmas Celebration."

Local outlet Positively Osceola reported the return two days earlier, in a September 28 story on this year's Christmas Celebration lineup. It says Miracles joins shows including Clyde & Seamore's Countdown to Christmas, O Wondrous Night and Winter Wonderland on Ice.

An exclusive showtime for Pass Members

The release says "Pass Members will be among the first to experience its return through an exclusive presentation time." It also promises Pass Members "will be among the first to receive all the details about its highly anticipated return."

That is the catch for now: SeaWorld has not published dates or showtimes for Miracles, or said when the Pass Member presentation happens. SeaWorld's Christmas Celebration shows page now lists Miracles, with the line "A holiday favorite is making its long-awaited return!" but it gives no dates. The event itself runs select nights from November 6, 2026, through January 4, 2027. Positively Osceola advises watching SeaWorld's show schedule for dates and times.

How long it has been gone

Miracles has been gone for years. SeaWorld's own Christmas shows page still listed it in December 2019, according to an Internet Archive copy, and Behind the Thrills reports the park ended its traditional theatrical orca shows on December 31, 2019. When The Unofficial Guides reviewed the 2020 Christmas Celebration, it described two songs sung in a holiday finale after that year's Orca Encounter, "When You Believe" and "Are You Ready for a Miracle," as ones "which longtime SeaWorld visitors may remember from the finale of the former Miracles show." So by 2020, Miracles was already in the past tense, though some of its music had stuck around.

Nighttime orca shows have already made one comeback this year. As we reported in May, SeaWorld added a nighttime orca show, Shamu Celebration: Light Up The Night, to its summer Electric Ocean event, which opened June 12. Miracles now brings the idea to Christmas.

SeaWorld's release calls this year's version a "seasonal nighttime orca presentation," and its Christmas shows page bills it as "All NEW! Miracles." Neither says how much of the original show will carry over.

The pass that came with it

The 2027 annual pass is on sale now for "as low as $14 per month with no down payment," according to the release. SeaWorld's annual pass page lists the Bronze Pass at $14 a month, or $168 a year against a regular $198. The release promises up to 8 free guest tickets on select tiers and "no blockout dates on Silver Pass and above."
