Legoland Florida Swapped Its Four Annual Passes for Three Today, and the Cheapest New One Leaves Out the Water Park

Legoland Florida rebuilt its entire annual pass program on Monday morning. Four tiers became three, the names all changed, and the cheapest of the new passes does not include the Water Park, which the outgoing Silver pass still does.

Bronze, Silver, Gold and Elite are no longer sold on the annual pass page. In their place: Standard at $179, Preferred at $249 and Premium at $299. The park is pitching the switch with a headline promise that you get the rest of this year thrown in.

A man in a pale green shirt sits at the back left, a boy in a yellow shirt beside him, a woman in a light blue shirt over a grey top laughing in the middle, and a girl in denim overalls at the front right screaming with her curly hair blown back. Oversized green and blue LEGO bricks hang from the dark ceiling above them alongside strings of small white fibre optic lights.

Quick facts: Standard $179, Preferred $249, Premium $299. Renewals are $99, $139 and $189. The launch offer applies to purchases made from August 31 through September 30, 2026, and it is not available on the monthly payment plan. The Water Park is not included at the new entry tier.

What each tier gets you

Standard, $179. Admission to Legoland Theme Park, Peppa Pig Theme Park and SEA LIFE Florida Aquarium, with blockout dates. Legoland's own comparison table puts the number of those blockout dates at 83, against zero for the two tiers above it. The legacy monthly pay table lists 36 blockout dates for Silver, so the number of blocked days at the entry tier has more than doubled. Up to 20 percent off Legoland hotels. No parking, no Bring a Friend tickets, and no Water Park.

Preferred, $249. Legoland's own summary line for this tier is "No Blockout Dates + Water Park + Parking." It adds unlimited admission to all four parks plus three regional attractions, free standard parking and 25 percent off preferred parking, and 10 percent off retail, food and beverage, Fastrack, photo packages, cabana rentals and VIP tours.

Premium, $299. Everything in Preferred, plus entry to 20 or more Merlin attractions across North America and four Bring a Friend tickets a year, released in four distribution windows with one ticket per window. Parking discounts rise to 50 percent off preferred, and the discount on food, Fastrack, photo, cabanas and tours goes to 20 percent, with retail staying at 10.

The Water Park is the real change

The old Silver pass, still listed on Legoland's own monthly pay page as this was written, is described as "Access to ALL 4 Parks" and lists Legoland Water Park among its inclusions, blockout dates and all. The new Standard pass lists three parks and leaves the Water Park out.

The headline price did fall. That same legacy page advertises "Pay in Full Options Available from $199," against the new $179. So the lowest advertised pay in full price fell by $20, though the page does not say which legacy tier the $199 applied to. The new Standard covers three parks where Silver covers four, and the cheapest Water Park access among the three new passes is the $249 Preferred. That is not the cheapest on the site today, though. Legoland is still selling the legacy Silver pass on its monthly pay page at $12.99 a month, and Silver still includes the Water Park.

Bring a Friend moved too. Under the old program, Gold included two Bring a Friend tickets and Elite included four. Under the new one, the middle tier gets none at all and the benefit is Premium only. The Merlin network shrank on paper as well: the legacy Elite pass advertised access to 30 or more Merlin attractions, while the new Premium advertises 20 or more.

The free Fastrack has a catch

Premium also adds a Fastrack One Shot: one free Fastrack per visit. The terms attach several limits to it.

Legoland's conditions state that it is "Valid at participating attractions only. Galacticoaster, Technic Coaster, and Coastersaurus are excluded from this benefit." Two of those three are Legoland Florida coasters: Coastersaurus, and Galacticoaster, which the park is still promoting as new. There is no attraction called Technic Coaster in Legoland Florida's current ride listing, which carries a LEGO Technic area flat ride called Technicycle but no coaster by that name.

It can also be pulled back when you would most want it. Availability "may be restricted during periods of high attraction demand, including when an eligible attraction reaches a 70-minute standby wait time." And the terms say it is blocked on designated blockout dates "including" Brick or Treat Saturdays in October, November 26 through 28, and December 25 through January 2, a list Legoland reserves the right to add to.

The promotion, and a couple of loose ends

The launch offer is "Buy a 2027 Annual Pass, Get the Rest of 2026 FREE!" Legoland's terms limit it to "purchases made August 31, 2026 - September 30, 2026 only," and note that "The monthly payment option is not available for this offer." Renewal prices are $99, $139 and $189, under a banner reading "Renew Your Pass & Save up to $110," which checks out at both the top tiers, since Preferred and Premium each save exactly $110.

Two passages on the same page describe different pass lengths. The terms say the complimentary 2026 period "will vary depending on the date of purchase and will be applied from the date of activation through December 31, 2027," which would make a pass bought now run about 16 months. The FAQ on the same page says "Your pass will be valid 12 months from the date of purchase and is activated automatically upon purchase."

The rollout also looks unfinished. The monthly pay page still lists Silver at $12.99, Gold at $17.00 and Elite at $23.25. The navigation on the older page templates, the blockout date page among them, still advertises annual passes "from $12.99/month." The blockout date page carries a link to "View Elite, Gold, Silver & Bronze Availability Calendar." And the description of Bring a Friend on the new Premium tier still says the tickets "allow Elite Annual Passholders to invite a friend," naming a tier that no longer exists. The same blockout page has a "View Park Admission by Pass" panel whose tabs read Premium, Preferred, Standard and Bronze, so the old entry tier is still sitting alongside the three new ones there, where its panel lists admission to the Legoland Theme Park and nothing else.

Existing passholders are not stranded. Legoland's FAQ says guests who bought before August 31, 2026, who are eligible for renewal and have six months or less left on a pass, can renew early and move onto the new benefits.
