First Look Inside Hurly-Burly, the BoardWalk Lounge Replacing Jellyrolls, Six Days Before It Opens
Disney posted the first interior photos of Hurly-Burly on Friday, and the old Jellyrolls room now has a gold-framed proscenium stage with red curtains, a brick back wall and a full band setup waiting under a ceiling full of stars.
Hurly-Burly opens at Disney's BoardWalk on Thursday, October 1, six days from now. WDW News Today also published photos from a Disney preview visit on Friday, so between Disney's photos and the outlet's walk-through, we now know what the room looks like and which bands are lined up.

What it looks like inside
Disney's photos show a room done in deep blue and teal. Powder blue tub chairs sit around white marble-look tables, wooden trusses cross a star-dotted ceiling above the stage, and star-shaped sconces line the walls. One of the blue walls carries the Hurly-Burly Theatre logo in ornate white lettering. WDWMagic also spotted a pressed tin ceiling section, booth seating along the walls, a chandelier in a smaller alcove and a vintage gramophone on a side table by the stage.

WDW News Today's preview photos show dark greens and golds in other parts of the room, and gold-arched shelving behind the bar. Just inside, guests are greeted by a gold Hurly-Burly Theatre sign on the entry wall, and floor tiles spell out a Welcome mat. Framed "artifacts" at the entrance belong to the theater's fictional headliners, Polly Delmar, the Siren Sisters and Prospero.

Hours: families first, 21 and up after 9pm
Hurly-Burly will be open daily from 4pm to 1am. Until 9pm it is open to all ages, with games and trivia run by a live host (WDW News Today lists bingo, trivia and sing-alongs). From 9pm, the room is 21 and over, with live music.
It is walk-up only, with no reservations. There is also a walk-up window on the promenade serving select drinks, with a small counter to sit at and fans under the red awning.

Who is playing
WDW News Today was told five bands are lined up for the venue: Sia and the Tin Pan, American Siren, Velvet Soul, Velvet Neon and a Top 40 band. Disney has not released an official schedule yet, so there is no word on which band plays which night.
What it costs
The full menu, with prices, has been out since early September. The small bites run from $11 to $21:
- Mini Apple Cider Doughnuts with miso-caramel sauce, $11
- Tomato Pie, $11
- Mini Pretzels with bacon-cheese fondue, $12
- Theater Concessions (a trio of meatballs, a sugar cookie and buttered popcorn), $12
- Meatballs in Tomato Gravy, $15
- Roast Beef Sliders, $17
- Oven-roasted Shrimp, $19
- Antipasto, $21
The ten house cocktails cost $17 to $21. The Cherry-Vodka Limeade is the cheapest at $17, the Mertini gin martini is $19, and the Caramel Corn Old Fashioned and the Road to Fame whiskey sour top the list at $21. Draft beers run $10.25 to $12.50. Without alcohol, the Overture in Orange, a frozen orange juice treat topped with sweet cream, is $6.99.

A busy week on the BoardWalk
October 1 is also the day Atlantic Dance Hall ends its regular weekend nights and becomes a private events venue, so the BoardWalk trades a weekend dance club for a nightly lounge open until 1am.
There may be more coming. The latest issue of Disney Files, the Disney Vacation Club members' magazine, says its staff "has an ear out for details about a new, soon-to-be-announced, quick-service dining destination bound for the boardwalk." Disney has not named it or said where it will go. WDW News Today thinks the most likely spot is the former Big River Grille & Brewing Works, which closed in January 2024.
