Disney's two Christmas parties open a night apart. Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios runs $169 to $199 with a Passholder discount every night; Very Merry at Magic Kingdom runs $189 to $229, includes cookies and drinks, and was 13 of 25 nights sold out by October 24.
Disney's Jollywood Nights foodie guide, out October 28, gives the new Checkin' It Twice Lounge five drinks, four marked new and one without alcohol. It also lists two new drinks at the returning Annual Passholder-only cart, new dishes at Fairfax Fare and the Brown Derby, and souvenir sundaes, but no prices.
Disney's refreshed Jollywood Nights page adds the new Checkin' It Twice Lounge with a live DJ, first-time party meets with Monsters, Inc. characters George Sanderson and Needleman, Donald, Daisy and Genie in the Glisten! skating show, and party-only merchandise led by a Gertie the Dinosaur Loungefly. The event runs 15 nights from November 7 to January 5.
The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is back on its main patio at Disney's Hollywood Studios after a refurbishment that began on June 29. The umbrellas are gone, replaced by a large awning with hanging lanterns and ceiling fans, and one table was left out in the open on purpose.
